iPhone Apps - LockInfo

One of the best things about jailbreaking your iPhone is being able to customise your LockScreen. One app that let's you do just that is David Ashman's LockInfo.

LockInfo let's you put a whole raft of info on your LockScreen, HomeScreen and now InfoShade, a blind that comes down over your screen activated by a shake of your device, long press on the status bar, pinch of the springboard or many other options - you decide!

Want to know how many new emails you have without unlocking your iPhone? How about previewing your messages? Checking your missed calls? Want to see your latest tweets, calendar events, notifications, weather, todo list, RSS feeds - the list goes on for native LockInfo plugin support.

The app is highly configurable, allowing you set font size, making each section collapsible, setting transparency and the like. Additionally, LockInfo incorporates some functions that are available as separate apps such as Quick Dismiss (quickly dismiss popup notifications), Block Popups and Dim Delay (screen dimming).

The dev releases frequent updates and is quick to fix bugs associated with new iOS updates such as recent iOS4 issues.

Finally, LockInfo is also themeable, with themes also available for the native plugins.

LockInfo is priced at a reasonable USD 4.99 with a 14 day trial from Cydia. If you upgrade to a new iPhone, your license will transfer over for free.
