iPhone Apps - FontSwap

If you are bored of the default fonts on your iPhone or just fancy a bit of a change, FontSwap provides an easy way to swap various fonts on your device including system fonts. When installing FontSwap, by default the FontSwapStarter package will also be installed onto your idevice.

All you need to do is choose which type of font you wish to change from the FontSwap main options page. The choices are Dialer & Calculator fonts, LockClock fonts, Notes Fonts and System Fonts. Note that if you have changed a lot of fonts on your device and want to go back to stock, that FontSwap also provides the option to 'Restore Default Fonts'.

The FontSwapStarter pack includes enough fonts for you to play around with - but if you want more font packs, these are widely available as separate packs in Cydia. Currently, FontSwap system fonts do not apply properly on iOS4, however all others appear to be working fine.

Should you wish to uninstall the app, you may need to uninstall manually via Cydia rather than using an app like CyDelete, as this tends to leave the FontSwapStarter package installed, when you delete the FontSwap app.

FontSwap is available on the BigBoss repo for free.
