This was formerly known as GreenPois0n and it can be used to jailbreak the iOS 4.0 and iOS 4.1. This new tool can be used on the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad, iPod Touch 3G and 4G. The new Limera1n is an untethered jailbreak and it can be used for all the services that have been listed above. There were some issues with Limera1n on its release and some fo these have been fixed already including the new bootrom on Cydia with the iPhone 3GS and the fact that some devices did neet to reboot in order ot see the Cydia icon. I have listed the remaining issues below.
• Limera1n is only available for windows at the moment. A linux version is to be released shortly. There is no word on a Mac version as yet.
• iOS betas 1, 2 and 3 are not supported with this tool.
