Unlock iPhone 3.1.3 3G and 3GS
Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 which has been designed for windows allows owners to jailbreak their iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS. By doing this you will be able to preserve your older baseband whilst still upgrading to the latest iPhone OS firmware. This means that you will be able to unlock iPhone 3G and 3GS using the current version of ultrasn0w.
All you have to do is follow the simple step by step instructions that are laid out in this unlock iPhone 3.1.3 tutorial.

Step 1:
The first thing that you have to do before you can unlock iPhone 3.1.3 firmware is to jailbreak your iPhone. There are detailed tutorials on how to do this and you can find them easily online. There is also excellent software available that will allow you to jailbreak your iPhone. You cannot unlock your iPhone until you have it jailbroken. Jailbreaking will allow you to use third party applications such as Cydia on your iPhone.

Step 2:
Once your iPhone has been jailbroken you need to start Cydia. When this application opens you need to hit the manage button which is located at the bottom of the screen. After this you need to hit the sources button. I do need to point out that if you are a T-mobile customer you have to disable 3G before you can install ultrasn0w which is the application that we will be using to unlock iPhone 3.1.3. You will find the setting for this in your device so make sure that this is done before you attempt to run ultrasn0w.

Step 3:
On the sources screen you need to hit the edit button and then the add button. A box will appear that will ask you to enter Cydia/APT URL. You have to type in http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com and click the add source button. (see screenshot below) Cydia will now automatically update your sources.

Step 4:
Once the repository has been added and you have received the successful notification you should hit the return to Cydia button. Now you have to search for ultrasn0w in Cydia and hit the install button for this application. This will be installed automatically onto your iPhone and the latest version of this application will unlock iPhone 3.1.3 for you.

Step 5:
Once ultrasn0w has been installed on your iPhone you will need to power off your device. You can then reboot your device and the ultrasn0w application will automatically start to unlock iPhone 3.1.3. You will then be free to use your device with any carrier that you choose.
