The simplest jailbreak tool ever is now available! What’s more, the tool reportedly works for all types of iDevices. iPhone hacker Comex said the jailbreaking tool is browser-based and requires no downloads. It can jailbreak iPhone 4 iOS 4 and 4.0.1, including the original iPhone and older iPhone models 3G and 3GS. The tool is so flexible that it could also jailbreak iPad and iPod touch.
iPhone owners who would want to avail of the tool just need to launch Safari on their iPhones, browse or point it to http://www.jailbreakme.com, and slide to jailbreak. You will then see a prompt that its downloading, after which, you’ll see a prompt that “Cydia has been added to the homescreen.” This tells you that the process is complete and your iOS has been jailbroken.
Early users of the tool mentioned that the tool works like magic, and describes it as “the simplest jailbreak tool ever used.” There’s no need to download any files, no need for wires or computers. The process is done remotely and directly in your iOS device.
There were several reports, however, that the tool slows down iPhone 4’s Facetime and MMS features. Comex has immediately addressed the issue and has fixed the bug.
iPhone users who are getting impatient and can’t live without their Facetime and MMS may want to try a quick fix to solve the issue if they have a backup. They can connect their iPhone 4 into a computer, load iTunes, right click on the iPhone and click “Restore from Backup”.
